New technology

It’s tough trying to advocate for the 2nd Amendment, I just about oppose all laws taking my gun rights away from me. At the same time I also advocate the safe operation of gun ownership. This article may help: “The guns that know who is firing them: Can smart tech make firearms safer?

Background check probably help, but I still think that if you want a gun you will find one. I do think that if you have children in your home this device could play a role in gun safety. I’m also a big fan of hunter safety courses and safety courses in general. In Arizona you don’t have to have a CCW or Concealed Carry Permit and you don’t have to attend a class but I did. It had been some time since I qualified with a weapon, so I thought it was a thing I should do and honestly I’m glad I did.

So here is my question to you? Any objections to taking a class and what do you think about this device to make the gun safer?

Potty Mouth

Never would I have imagined a U.S. Senator answering a question or responding in such a manner. I think many have lost track of their jobs and who they represent. Clearly this guy needs to go and I for one will do whatever it takes to vote them out come reelection time. Rhode Island its your chance to banish this one from politics and pay attention to whats happening in your state. That all I’m asking.

Dem’s continue to push for rifle bans..

Dianne Feinstein pushes for semi-automatic rifle import ban based on 45 year old law

We urge ATF to close the loopholes that allow the importation of military-style weapons into the United States.  Such an approach should, at a minimum:

  • Prohibit importation of all semiautomatic rifles that can accept, or be readily converted to accept, a large capacity ammunition magazine of more than 10 rounds, regardless of the military pedigree of the firearm or the configuration of the firearm’s magazine well;
  • Prohibit semiautomatic rifles with fixed magazines with a capacity of more than 10 rounds;
  • Prohibit the importation of the frame or receiver of any prohibited rifle, regardless of whether it is incorporated into a fully manufactured firearm;
  • Prohibit the practice of importing assault rifles in parts and then constructing the rifles once they are in the United States by adding the requisite number of American-made parts;
  • Prohibit the use of a “thumbhole” stock as a means to avoid classification of a rifle as an assault rifle; and
  • Prohibit the importation of assault pistols, in addition to assault rifles.
I think as Americans we need to remember those who advocate and vote for these types of laws, remember them as you vote.

I’m not sure I agree, game isn’t over till the Surpreme Court says so.

“It’s gone to the court, and guess what? You lost.”
“It’s gone to the court, and guess what? You lost.”

“It’s gone to the court, and guess what? You lost!” Connecticut Governor Daniel Malloy

At the end of the day, it’s not over until the Surpreme Court rules. So stay tuned and vote, get these politicians out and vote in those that understand the 2nd Amendment as it is written.

“It’s gone to the court, and guess what? You lost.”

Homeowner fires weapon on intruder.

PCSO (Pinal County Sheriff’s Office) Homeowner shot suspect in Apache Junction

The 59-year-old homeowner heard the men at his back door and looked at the family’s security camera, Gaffney said. He then saw the men wearing hoods and holding guns.

When they started kicking at the door, the homeowner fired a round through the back door, Gaffney said in a news release.

I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same. So help me God

This is the Oath that our President and many of our Politicians and those that are supposed to serve our Country take upon assuming office. How close to their heart do you think they take this privilege?

To carry or not to carry? 2nd Amendment debate continues.

Court overturns restrictions on concealed in much of California

Citing the 2012 ban on the open carrying of guns, Winkler said: “Gun control advocates have no one but themselves to blame for this ruling. You have to give someone some option to carry a gun.”

He said that the ban on openly carrying unloaded guns affected relatively few people because most gun owners don’t want the attention and questions that guns in public attract.
